ProfileTap ("ProfileTap", "we", "our", "us") is a digital identity and profile-sharing platform operated by Vedanta Core, a proprietorship firm registered in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you use our website, platform, NFC/QR products, and related services.

We collect information you provide directly such as your name, business name, designation, phone number, email address, social links, portfolio links, website URLs, profile content including bio, images, services, and location. Billing details are limited to invoices as payment processing is handled by third-party gateways. We also automatically collect information including IP address, browser type, device information, usage data such as page visits, profile views, and interactions, as well as NFC/QR interaction logs which are non-intrusive and anonymized where possible. For AI and automation features, if you enable them such as review assistant or automation tools, only selected profile fields are processed, AI access is explicitly opt-in, and AI training on your data is disabled by default.

We use your data strictly for creating and displaying your digital profile, enabling NFC/QR-based sharing, analytics and performance insights, communication related to your account, providing opt-in AI and automation features, and legal, compliance, and security purposes. We do not sell personal data.

We process data based on user consent, contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, and legal obligations.

We may share limited data with payment gateways, cloud infrastructure providers, communication and automation providers such as IVR, WhatsApp, and email services, as well as analytics and security services. All partners are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

We maintain secure, access-controlled infrastructure with logical data separation per tenant, regular backups and monitoring, and industry-standard security practices. We are working toward ISO 27001-aligned controls.

Profile data is retained while your account is active. You may delete or deactivate your profile anytime. Backup retention follows security and legal requirements.
